Peter Hook & The Light

Peter Hook & The Light is the touring project led by Peter Hook, the former bassist of Joy Division and New Order, performing live interpretations of classic Joy Division and New Order material. At The Sound in Del Mar, California the band recreates those post‑punk and synth‑pop albums with Hook’s distinctive high-register basslines and faithful arrangements. The concert is notable for giving fans a chance to hear seminal songs performed live under the direction of an original band member.
